Thank you for bringing this to the surface. I have been dismayed that many of our colleagues in this space are not talking about current world affairs and how our children are consuming and processing (or not processing) the content. We talk a lot with our two boys (age 13 and 16) and most of the topics come from them - something they have seen on YouTube or something the older one has seen/heard on Instagram. Processing it all through their eyes has been eye opening and at times heart breaking. Holding this all as the parent while making sure they keep their youthful idealism and hope for the future is our job. Thank you so much for this post and for your work.
