The admissions Hunger Games and how kids are often more thougtful than parents when they post about it
I'm a fan of Bagdon and his friends!
Wow. I'm on my 4th (& final) kid graduating high school, & I've never heard of Naviance. Or MaiaLearning. I'm so glad I live in small town/rural WI!
I've been posting on TikTok about how hard it is for parents (mothers especially) to hear their own intuition these days, and this kind of social media plays such a big role in that. (I'm not anti-social media, as a 58-yo who posts on TikTok--ha!) What you're writing about here falls right into line with what I'm talking about. How can parents trust their own intuition about their kids taking an alternate path with this kind of pressure--and if the parents can't trust their own intuition, how can they help their kids learn to trust their own? It's a big deal and so few people are talking about it.
I have my hands on your book and am excited to start reading!
